"What can I say about Maddie? A lot really, but I won't bore you on the pointless details of our pathetic aim conversations, and crazy comment spams that go until 1 in the morning. However, I will tell you that she is awesome. I'm lucky to have stumbled across that broadway friending meme, as it brought a lot of amazing people to my list, and she is certainly one of them. She's very kind, funny, and just really easy to talk to. If she's not on your flist, you lose. Add her now. Lots-o-loveā„"---

"Maddie is my namesake. She is highly amusing, very well-spoken and a TV obsessive lovah like me! I ish her Happeh Puppeh. She loves musicals just as much as me, and for that I adore her, as I love my musical fangirls. She and I will one day probably manage to kidnap Norbert Leo Butz and make him sing for us, thus she is ALSO a potential partner in crime - and there is no price on a good partner in crime. She is quite easy to get along with and shares the wonderful things she likes and does with everyone. I luff Maddie, and everyone else should too!"---

"You are a very intelligent, thoughtful, kind and generous girl. I consider it an honour and privilege to have you on my flist. I know the world is in good hands with such a lovely young lady as its future. *hugs*"---

"OMG, can you believe it's been almost five years since we've been friends? Crazy, huh? But in those five years, I have discovered what an amazing individual you are. You're kind, obsessive (in the good way), and SO hysterically funny! You're very open-minded to everything I put in your way. Since you and I have a two month age gap, I've always considered you my little sister. From Broadway to singing on stage in school to the Beatles to Rent, you have been there. You've been there for me whenever I've had a problem and you do the best you can to cheer me up. Without you, life would be dismally dull. You've also gotten me into new fandoms that I now consider my own as well. As such I say this: I thank God every day that I sat down with you, Yasmin, and Katie in Mr. McGough's fifth grade class. Because if I didn't, I would've overlooked a very special person to me. Like I said, it's been five years, babe. Let's see if we can make another five just as crack-headed and full of laughter! What do you say to that? Love you honey! I've seen you bloom from a very shy ten year old girl to a very well-spoken, talented, witty, lovely, fourteen year old young woman. For that, I applaud you. I consider you now one of the most precious beings to me on this gree earth. I love you! *hugs*"---

So here you go. Sorry it's so late. (By three years.)
MADDIE. Maddie, Maddie, Maddie. When we grow up and go into the dimestore porn novel business together, I will turn to you and say, "Aren't you glad you invited me to your birthday party all those years ago?" And you will reply, "What?" because by then you will be mostly deaf after an unfortunate accident that happened while you were holding a boom box over your head on a busy freeway.
Hmm, the story of our future is another one of those stories I plan to write someday. But I digress. How do I love thee? Would a nose by any other name still smell like Maddie? Well for starters, would Matthew Lillard have stolen just ANYONE'S coat? No. I am not entirely coherant, you see, because this is the depth of my love for you. You, frankly, are the best friend I've ever had. You've put up with me for more than a year, and that's a feat. You are wry, eccentric, bizarre, hilarious, diligent, emotional, spastic, fantastic, procrastinastic, prophylactic, and impossibly goopy underneath it all. These are the greatest traits anyone can have. You are going to be bitching at actors and writing snarky plays that you'll tell me how much you hated as you go up to recieve the Tony. And I WILL be there next to you. You know why? 'Cause I'm at least smart enough to figure out when I get a friend as incredible you you I should never let her go, babe. (Sorry about that.)
In conclusion, Maddie, sweet lovely Maddie, I'm glad you're not a lesbian like me. 'Cause I don't think there's any kind of love or sex or whatever on this earth that could replace what we have right now. It's perfect, and I hope it doesn't go away in a million million years. <3 <3 <3 Love you!
